Hola! My name is Luis and I am an international student from Mexico majoring in Political Science (Honours) with minors in Security Studies and Law & Society with Co-Op Education. This year, I have the great honour of serving as President for FASA. I am committed to enhancing the student experience of all undergraduate Arts Students and representing all of our collective interests! Together we will foster an inclusive, diverse, and engaging community—and consolidate FASA’s role as a social change agent within the University of Calgary. Onward!

 

If I had a superpower, I would choose time traveling so I could travel back-and-forth in time and sign-up for as many activities and courses as possible!

My name is Amisha Grewal and I am a Political Science major here at UofC. As VP academic I plan to acquire funding for our AURs program, establish academic student feedback loop. As well as help advocate for the tuition hikes!

Hello there! My name is Sara and I'm a 4th year student majoring in Law and Society with a minor in Political Science. I am honored to be the VP of Communications and look forward to getting to know everyone and fostering an open and honest community with all students. I'm a big coffee enthusiast who loves exploring new cafes and savoring different brews. When I'm not indulging in my caffeine adventures, you'll find me engrossed in the high-speed world of Formula One or cheering for my favorite football teams. 

And when it's time to unwind, I love solving new puzzles. But traveling is my ultimate passion, and I thrive on discovering new places, cultures, and experiences.

Hi everyone! My name is Juan and I am a 5th year student studying History and Education! I am passionate about community building and I hope to keep fostering an inclusive and supportive Faculty of Arts community as your FASA VP Events! I aim to continue to execute the usual FASA events, such as the Arts Gala, but also implement some new and innovative events for y’all to enjoy and benefit from! Outside of school, I am an avid mango and coffee consumer, everyone’s favourite swiftie, and a chronically online pop culture enthusiast.

 

If I could have any superpower, it would be teleportation hands down. A life dream of mine is to travel the world, but plane tickets are expensive these days, so teleportation would allow me to fulfill this dream for free.

Hi everyone! My name is Aaron Arauco and I am majoring in Economics and minoring in Computer Science. My plan for FASA is to collaborate with other members of the Council and Committees to engage students with the Faculty of Arts by hosting events and creating a sense of community.

Hello! My name is Thu and this is my second year as VP External for FASA. This year, I hope to plan a much more consistent communication channel between ourselves, our department clubs, and our Arts administration. Moreover, I also would like to finish some of the projects that I and the previous VP of Operations and Finance have started. Namely, the Merch and Mural project. Either way, I simply wish to create a stronger student community and help Arts students in any way possible. My current hobby is cooking, particularly French, Italian, and Vietnamese cuisine.
